Community Help

Have a practical situation where an extra pair of hands could help?

This is a small informal personal initiative. If you have a reasonable request and I think I can help safely, practically and legally, I may be able to contribute some time, coordination or hands-on help. There is no charge for this page and no guarantee that I can accept a request.

The idea

Tell me the situation first.

You do not need to send money or book anything. Explain what is going on, who needs help, the approximate area, what you are asking me to do and when it matters. I will decide case by case whether I am actually a sensible person to help.

Sometimes the useful contribution is simple: an hour of time, a pickup that is already paid for, help carrying something, basic coordination, or sitting with someone while they work through a straightforward digital task.

Examples I may consider

  • Picking up a prepaid ordinary item and bringing it to a confirmed recipient
  • Helping with light moving/loading where the situation is clear and safe
  • Basic local errands or practical coordination
  • Helping someone navigate a straightforward online/admin task without impersonating them
  • Other low-risk requests where my time or presence could make things easier
Boundaries

Some things are an automatic no.

These rules exist so a genuine attempt to help does not become a financial, legal or personal-safety problem for either side.

No money-transfer intermediary

I will not receive money into my account and forward it, withdraw cash for someone else, move funds between strangers, deposit cheques, buy gift cards/crypto, or act as a pass-through for payments.

No unknown packages or controlled items

I will not transport unexplained sealed packages, weapons, illegal goods, controlled substances, unidentified medication or high-risk valuables for strangers.

No emergency or professional care

This is not emergency response, medical care, childcare, personal support work, legal representation or another regulated professional service. Use the appropriate qualified or emergency service when that is what the situation needs.

No secrecy or forced urgency

I will not participate in requests that depend on hiding something from a bank, police, retailer, employer, family member or institution. Artificial urgency never overrides verification.

Important: Raza Works is not a registered charity, fundraising platform or emergency service. I do not issue charitable tax receipts and this page does not collect donations. If money is needed for a legitimate situation, the safest arrangement is normally for the person helping to pay the recipient or merchant directly rather than routing funds through me.
Before you submit

A request is just a request.

I may ask for enough information to understand or independently verify the situation. I may suggest a safer version of the request, decline without taking it on, or stop if something no longer feels appropriate.

You explain the situation

Who needs help, what is needed, where roughly, when and what you expect me to do.

I review it

I look at safety, practicality, legality, time, distance and whether I am actually useful.

We verify and coordinate

If it seems suitable, we confirm the relevant people and details before anything happens in person.

I either help or decline

No commitment exists until I explicitly agree to the specific request.

Include who needs help, your relationship to them, the practical task, and anything that would matter for safety or logistics.
More context makes it easier to decide whether there is a safe version of the request.
